Lashbrook Egg Products is in the business of breaking eggs and supplying a variety of egg blends to customers throughout North America.
Our products are produced to exacting product quality standards and are available in liquid or frozen form in pails, totes or tankers. We break more than 7 million eggs weekly and blend them according to our customers needs.
Lashbrook Egg Products is part of the L.H. Gray and Son group of companies. Established in 1934, L.H. Gray has a long and successful history as one of the foremost egg producing, egg grading and innovative egg marketing organizations in Canada. The company markets a variety of shell egg products from the Classic White egg to the recently introduced Omega Choice Lutein shell egg and a line of liquid egg white products for home use.
The Lashbrook Quality Program
We have been producing and delivering high quality egg products to the commercial food industry for over 65 years. From the first small plant in Rodney, Ontario to our current state-of-the-art facility in Elmira, our obsession with delivering only the finest product available has never wavered.
Our Eggs are:
- Traceable to the point of origin
- Delivered in refrigerated trucks and held in a cooled storage area to maintain freshness
- Washed and sanitized before breaking
- Broken to Canadian standards
- Pasteurized after breaking and separating
Quality and Safety Assurances:
- Third party microbiological testing of every batch of product
- Positive air packing rooms to ensure no air borne bacteria can compromise our products
- Our Plant and Equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized twice a day
- Electronic Monitoring Prevents Tampering - we have installed a state-of-the-art 24 hour monitoring system in all production, packaging and warehousing areas to ensure our product is handled by authorized personnel only. Our facility is 100% tamper-proof.
- Our products are available in Insulated Stainless Steel Totes with thermometers, Plastic Lined Food Grade Plastic Pails or Stainless Steel Tankers.
- Our Production Facility is HACCP certified, approved and continuously inspected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and as an added customer assurance, FPA-Safe audited (results available upon request).
Personnel Training - our personnel are key to the success of our production processes and we regularly train and update their knowledge of our procedures. This has resulted in a highly motivated group who know the benefits of their hard work.
Our Products are Kosher approved by the Kashruth Council of Canada.
