Bill Gray, President
Bill Gray has had a lifetime career in the egg industry starting when he went to work for his parents, Ina and Lyle, who had started an egg grading business in 1934. Their business enjoyed success and in time, Bill became President of the company, now called L.H. Gray and Son. Under Bill’s leadership, L.H. Gray has grown to become one of Canada’s leading egg grading operations. Expansion into further egg processing was a natural move for L.H. Gray and Bill purchased Lashbrook in 2005. At the time of the purchase, Bill Gray observed "More than 50 years ago, Bert Lashbrook and Lyle Gray established a strong business relationship based on friendship and trust. We are proud to add the Lashbrook name to our group of companies." Bill is a Director of the Egg Farmers of Canada (formerly the Canadian Egg Marketing Agency) and a member of the Canadian Poultry and Egg Processors Council.
Mike Walsh, Vice-President Sales and Marketing
Mike Walsh brings 16 years of egg experience and more than 33 years of food and packaging experience to Lashbrook. He has worked for numerous consumer and industrial companies such as William Neilson, Irving Tissue and Cavendish Farms. In addition to his Lashbrook responsibilities, Mike is also Vice-President Sales and Marketing for L.H. Gray and Son. Today, Mike oversees the sales and marketing of all L.H. Gray brands which include Gray Ridge Egg Farms and Conestoga Farms.
Scott Brookshaw, Vice-President Operations
When Lashbrook was purchased by L.H. Gray in 2005, Scott Brookshaw added a new responsibility to his role as Vice-President of Operations for L.H. Gray. Scott has been with L.H. Gray since 1998 and in that time has played a significant role in the upgrading of the production, packaging and cold storage departments of the Lashbrook plant as well as monitoring the daily productivity, efficiency, quality and performance of the facility.
Rick Lashbrook, Sales Manager
Rick Lashbrook is the grandson of the company’s founder, Albert Lashbrook. He has been with the company since 1977 working in all aspects of the egg breaking operation. Rick purchased the business in the early 1990’s and has steered its path toward modernization and growth. After the purchase of the company in 2005, Rick stayed on as Sales Manager.
